Interactive Annual Report for "Great Basin Gold"

It's fun making boring information interesting. We recently helped GBG turn their annual report PDF into a page-turning flash ebook. We try to use this phylosphy in all our products; finding the most elegant solution for a problem, and making business information easy (and even fun) to access and use.

The King of Cold Calling

A Salesman par excellence talks about the rewards of cold calling in USA

This is a great read for anyone in sales, especially when it comes to dreaded "COLD CALLING."  Sales can be extremely rewarding, one just has to stay focussed, try and reach your daily target you have set for yourself and don't let anyone ruin your mood. This just inspired me and just shows, that just a "try" can reap the awards.

Enjoy the read :-)

The Future of Flash and the Web

I've always been a big fan of Adobe Flash. We've used if for numerous websites and CD-ROMs, its great for slick animations and innovative navigation systems (like our "London Underground" style navigation tree we created for the University of Pretoria's information CD-ROM). But I've noticed recently a moving trend on the web to use javascript for flashy like effects. The technology works so well, sometimes I dont even know if it is Flash and have to right click on it just to make sure!

Three very interesting and inspiring videos:

First "Tech" Breakfast

The Tech Breakfast was inspired by the now lost tradition of watching TED videos once a week during lunch breaks. Jonathan revived the idea and we turned it into a monthly breakfast, this one being the first!

What is an e-suburb and why should you implement it

An e-suburb can be thought of as an electronic version of a residential estate where like-minded people build their homes according to similar design principles. But the difference here is that linking between these “houses” will be bountiful in order to boost search engine optimisation. Each “house” must share a common theme so that value is added to the user’s experience.
